Great Deals on 2025 River Cruise Early

With the very busy 2023 river cruise season now nearing it’s closure, and the 2024 booking quite heavily for all river cruise operators – most river cruise lines and tour operators are now putting their 2025 deployment out for sale.  We have spoken to many of our operator partners and one thing is true across all – 2024 will be as busy or even busier than 2023!  For those of us that like to plan ahead and get confirmed early – this is a good thing.  We can look at 2025 now and get some ideas of where and when we want to river cruise.  And maybe even put a small deposit down to hold the best cabin available.  But if you are more of a last-minute river cruiser, then you may want to consider booking earlier than you normally would.  Time and time again we have clients looking for a river cruise on short notice – only to find that the popular rivers, destinations and cruise lines are sold out well in advance.  Also, keep in mind that ‘close in’ or ‘last minute’ for river cruising is typically 6 months before departure.  The ‘normal’ booking period is generally about 12 months before departure.  And early bookers that want the perfect cruise and cabin – will book about 18 months before departure.  So whatever your tendency is – consider a bit earlier for 2024 or 2025 cruises.  This could save you some headaches and potential disappointment later on.

There are also quite a few early booking discounts on many of the most popular river cruise itineraries out there.  Keep in mind – if they are popular – they will sell out fast and never see a bit promotion price discount.  So although the early booking discounts on many river cruises aren’t the big promos you may want to hold out for – your cruise and cabin may not be available when it is time for river cruise operators to offer any bigger incentives for 2025.
